Amazing find, small restaurant, quite secluded from the rest of the world. Really quiet environment, great for introverts, there were barely any other customers. Decent food options. Only bad part is if you pay with card it cost extra.

So yes, it’s a quiet, small place run by and elderly couple. Maybe it isn’t the standard service you’d expect, but this grandma made us feel at home. She was taking care of us and other customers really well. Always with a smile and laugh. If you’re looking to get pampered, don’t come here. If you’re looking to feel welcomed, eat in a quiet little restaurant, this is your spot. The food was awesome, I was a little hesitant on the black bean noodles but man was it good. The side dishes were really generous, and you can tell the food was cooked with care. Came here on a work trip with some coworkers, and we were genuinely satisfied and happy. A wonderful local restaurant run by some lovely folks. Would 100% come back

If you’re looking for the best service in town, don’t come here. HOWEVER, if you’re looking for the tastiest, authentic Korean cuisine made home style by an elder couple, look no further! This place is definitely a hole-in-the-wall restaurant, with holes in its service and a potential language barrier, but the food more than makes up for that! My boyfriend and I were planning on going to the newly opened Hmart in Cherry Hill, but with the crowdedness, the food court was all sold out. We searched for another Korean eatery and found this gem! Don’t be fooled by the empty restaurant and modest ambience, the food is the real deal. Again, ran by just an elderly couple, so please be patient; it will well be worth it! My boyfriend and I shared the spicy squid and pork casserole and also the black bean noodles. Both were full of fresh crispy veggies and full of flavor. The casserole came with rice by default and the kind lady also brings out banchan, or Korean appetizer side dishes (usually kimchi, tofu, pickled cucumber, radish and onion, but can change by the day). The meal was well worth the price and a great value. We left satisfied and would definitely return again to support this loc

This is one of my favorite spots for Korean noodles. The menu is simple and clear, so it’s easy to decide what to order without overthinking. The noodles are always on point, and the service is consistently friendly and attentive. Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone craving Korean noodles.

This was my first time visiting Jjang Ga Nae, and unfortunately the experience was disappointing overall. The restaurant was very quiet with only a few customers, and after trying the food, I understood why. I do want to say that the grandma working there is very nice, she was kind and welcoming. But I still need to be honest with my review. There's nothing wrong with giving my honest opinion, as long as it's truthful. Reviews are based on personal taste, and everyone is entitled to their own experience. Right away, I noticed that they don’t give water or anything unless you ask for it. No water cups, nothing. We ordered 2 Fanta soda, and while I usually don’t mind as long as it tastes fine, the first sip tasted like plastic and like it had been sitting in the fridge for a long time. When I checked the can, I realized it was both expired (Oct. 2025). I couldn’t believe they served me expired soda, especially when the taste made it obvious something wasn’t right. Today I even have an upset stomach, I’m not sure if it’s related to the soda or just a coincidence, but it didn’t leave me feeling good.🤒🥺 That's all I had eaten. For food, we ordered the beef bulgogi, LA galbi. The be
